The following is a list of current volunteer opportunities at Smith River Alliance. If you have skills that you would like to share or develop that would not be put to use by any of the opportunities below, we would be happy to discuss other ways you could contribute your time and talents to the Smith River Alliance or at Rock Creek Ranch.
Writing: Apply your skills to researching and writing an article for the newsletter.
Data Entry: Enter information onto our database, prepare mail merge documents, and stuff envelopes.
Events support: Periodically there are educational events at Rock Creek Ranch and other locations where volunteers are needed to greet visitors and perform other support functions.
Rock Creek Ranch Garden: There is a large organic garden and orchard at the ranch that thrives on volunteer love and attention! Weed, hoe, plant strawberries, prune and perform other garden tasks depending on the season!
Rock Creek Ranch Work Parties: The Smith River wraps around Rock Creek Ranch and serves as the perfect background for “work as meditation.” There is always important hard work on the property that needs to be done. Please contact us to get on the mailing list for work parties, or to identify a project that inspires and nurtures you. Learn more about RCR Work Parties.
This list is not restrictive; please contact us with any special talents you would like to share!
