Rock Creek Ranch — What’s New?

Fans and supporters in Gold Beach Oregon welcome and appreciate Senator Wyden and Congresswoman Hoyle on July 29 for their work to protect the rivers of America’s Wild Rivers Coast.

Jessica manages Smith River Alliance’s Rock Creek Ranch, the 175-acre home of SRA, nestled up the South Fork canyon of the Smith River.

For those who may not have visited the Ranch in 2023, meet Jessica Swanson, Rock Creek Ranch Manager-Caretaker.  Jessica joined the SRA team in spring 2023 and we’re grateful to have found her!  Jessica’s assignments have included hosting Ranch visitors, taking major responsibility for multiple stewardship projects around the county, providing field support for coastal plain habitat restoration projects, and projects around the Ranch.

We’re pleased to report former Caretaker Sam Mosey is still working with SRA on multiple projects.  The big news from Sam and his wife Keri is the birth of their baby girl, Hazel June on  Oct 27.
