Smith River Alliance Releases Elk Creek Restoration Plan

The purpose of the Elk Creek planning effort was to identify and prioritize potential restoration projects in the watershed that would improve coastal resilience, water quality, hydrology, and fish and wildlife habitat. The Plan is the result of a collaboration between Smith River Alliance, public agencies, tribes and local stakeholders. It identifies thirty potential restoration projects that could provide significant improvements to the Elk Creek, a coastal watershed in Crescent City.
